Occupancy Monitoring
Our small discreet ceiling mounted occupancy sensor can be utilised to track which areas of your buildings are being used and for how long, so you can make informed decisions to reduce energy consumption based on low or no occupancy.
The occupancy sensor can be integrated to interact with external control systems such as VRF and Fan Coil systems to create an energy efficient, healthy working environment for employees.
This device is typically used as below:
- Air Conditioning Energy Reduction: Hybrid working has meant changes to building occupancy. Sensor driven real-time and historical data will enable informed, cost effective building efficiency.
- Heating & Hot Water Systems: Reduce Energy consumption on the same basis as above. Reduced occupancy can mean less usage
- Ventilation Changes: Varying occupancy can affect Indoor air quality. When occupancy data is connected to Indoor air quality data the ventilation strategy can be adapted in real time to ensure an optimum environment is being maintained.
- Smart Cleaning: Restroom usage and occupancy information enables data driven efficient cleaning, allowing cleaning teams to be directed to check and clean restroom based on usage rather than on a preset schedule.
